Winner of ‘Best Fashion and Footwear Store’ at the 2019 Chesterfield retail awards, Dotique is an upcoming independent womenswear retailer giving women of all ages a warm, friendly shopping experience. To end an incredible year for Dotique on a high, Dorothy Robinson owner of Dotique organised a Christmas Fashion Show at Casa Hotel to support local charity Helen’s Trust, which raised a fantastic £1402 for the charity.
Helen’s Trust support people with a terminal illness to remain in their own home if they wish to do so by providing care and support and enabling the main carer, often a family member to have a few hours break in the knowledge that their loved one is looked after and not alone.
The amount raised would provide 77 hours of day respite care in the home or 9 night sits in the home, all of which are very much needed by the people supported by Helen’s Trust. “We are very grateful to Dorothy and the team at Dotique for choosing to raise money for Helen’s Trust, and the money will be used to support people in our local communities at a very difficult time. Dorothy and her lovely Dotique customers are very supportive of Helen’s Trust and we value our good relationship and their generous donations” said Emily Ingram, Events and Communications Officer.
