Helen’s Trust is a well regarded charity which, for 15 years, has been committed to maintaining the highest levels of care and quality services to people across North Derbyshire with any terminal illness, who wish to be cared for and to remain at home at the end of their illness.
We are recruiting a CEO to lead our small but dynamic charity through its next important stage of development. We need to deliver our valuable services in an ever challenging environment and increase our profile while ensuring long term financial sustainability through consolidating and developing our fundraising activities.
The advertised role requires the successful candidate to lead and manage a charity with a small, skilled and passionate team of staff and volunteers. As CEO you will be responsible for delivering the charity’s business plan and ensuring that Helen’s Trust has the funding and profile to be successful in the present environment and into the future.
To do that you will review and update the fundraising and communications strategies, in line with the wider charity strategy. We expect you to work closely with the Board of Trustees to ensure the effective financial, legal and moral governance of Helen’s Trust. You will need to oversee operations and activities and encourage and inspire our committed team, delivering the strategic aims of Helen’s Trust in a creative and inspiring way that will engage and enthuse others.
