2008 Great North Run
5 October 2008 at 10:00:00 - All Day
On the 5th October 2008 the 6 members of The Helen’s Trust ‘GoldenGaters’ running team crossed the Tyne Bridge from the centre of Newcastle on Tyne on their way to South Shields some 13.1 miles away.
The Great North Run is the world’s largest half marathon attracting more than 50,000 runners.
Each team member individually raised considerable sponsorship from family and friends in aid of Helen’s Trust.
Donating is still possible. You can do this on-line at:-

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.
It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Helen's Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 28% in Gift Aid is added to your donation.
