A message from our President

Since moving to Chatsworth I have seen first hand the wonderful energy and dynamism of the Helen’s Trust team. Their enthusiasm is infectious and is reflected in the creative ways that the charity is able to support people to stay in their own homes when they are ill.
Helen’s Trust is well supported with many volunteers and generous donors giving their time and commitment for the good of the local community. Such support is vital to the charity’s existence. We need to continue to expand this, to make sure that Helen’s Trust can reach out and support those who require it. This is an important long term vision for the charity, which is also true to the spirit behind the charity’s creation.
The impact of Helen’s Trust on those it helps is felt far and wide, easing difficult times for friends and family. The importance of being able to choose to stay at home when a person is facing an incurable illness cannot be underestimated. We need only remember the story of Helen Louise Lyon, to remind ourselves of why it is so important to sustain this charity and secure the long term future of the services it provides.
Thank you for your interest in Helen’s Trust.
